why has no one invented a self editing program that just removes all the cruddy parts, and re-write the ok ones?

I always edit as I go along. Keeps it from getting stale. I've discovered something important, which is quite simple--if you don't like a paragraph, you can and should remove it. Save it in another document and, if you decide you like it later, you can always re-insert it. Simple stuff like that keeps you going as a writer.

Writer's block. The worst disease for any budding author, and I'm suffering from an acute case tonight. I may have to edit more. Pity me.

Anyone here ever hear of NaNoWriMo? Yes! I want to do it.. But I am a horrible writer.. dif First of all I doubt that, and secondly, the whole point of NaNoWriMo is that it's a writing exercise and it doesn't have to be good. You can edit it in December. Just get your thoughts down on paper.

I'm working on a poetic ending dubbed"The winds of change" and I am no poet, so I'm having trouble.
edit i came up with this.
"The winds change as often as are everyday lives. While once in a while you may be hit with a hurricane, or even a banquet of gales, That may diminish your hopes; More often then not, that hurricane turns out to be a puny gust, in the grand scheme of things, so it’s best to go with the flow, and look for the cool summer breeze inide of that hurricane, because it is almost sure to appear. " (I'm sending this off for publication, the entire story will also be my entry to the contest) what do you guys think?
