1. Unicorns have sharp horns. 2. Unicorns have magical powers. 3. Unicorns were originally the symbol for Jesus Christ (what now?) 4. Zombies, while formidable opposition for a weak human being, could easily be destroyed by powerful mythical creatures, as their limbs are delicate and fall apart easily.

Okay, Hope has a point. ;D Unicorns have been around a lot longer than zombies. Anyway, The Last Battle (final book in the Narnia series) has Jewel, a warrior unicorn: Look at the blood on his horn. He's a warrior. Yeah, go read that book and get back to me. ^_^ In the olden days unicorns were considered to be fierce animals, practically impossible to catch. They had cloven hooves and lion's tails.

From a writers point of view, zombies are almost a perfect enemy!A enemy that can't die! what more of a challenge could you want for your protagonist then for him to face that hard of an enemy, an enemy that he can't be killed , but he still has to figure out a way to beat him , so he can to the world. And beside because of unicorns hedwig died !!!
